Hello backers!

As April begins, we're one month away from beginning fulfillment. How are things going? Let's find out. But first - a word of apology. I'm still recovering from PAX East this past weekend, so we're going to forego the video this time - sorry about that. Now, let's get on with the update.

• The first order of dice, covering wave 1, is due in towards the end of April. All is proceeding as expected, and the second wave is lined up and ready to proceed shortly after that.
• Pre-orders will most likely be closing down late this month to allow us to give full information to Dispel for the limited production.
• Dice Vaults and Tabletop Vaults have not yet entered production, but will around the middle of April. We have run the initial trials and don't anticipate any issues fulfilling the volumes needed for the campaign.
• Addresses remain locked, but as we near the start of fulfillment, it's very important that your address be kept up-to-date. If you have moved, are moving now, or will be moving sometime during the next several months, please let us know as far in advance as possible, so we can plan your shipment correctly and make sure it gets to you. Ready to Roll

As we near the beginning of fulfillment, we know you're eager to get these very special dice and Dice Vaults. We can't wait to get them to you, and I'll report back on May 1st to let you know what the status of the project is at that time. I'll be able to give you some solid information on our timeline on when shipments will begin and how we expect the fulfillment to go over the next several months.

As a reminder, beginning in May, there will be TWO updates per month, one on the 1st and one on the 15th, to give you a mid-month snapshot of fulfillment progress. That schedule will continue until fulfillment concludes (planned for July).

March Fulfillment Update

Hello everyone!

It's March. A new month brings with it the first of our regularly scheduled fulfillment updates while we work on processing and delivering all of your orders. There's generally not a lot to report in these updates, but we do believe in checking in to make sure you know things are progressing as planned. Are they? Let's find out!

• As I mentioned last time, addresses have been locked. However, this doesn't mean they can't be changed - you'll just have to contact us to make those changes for you. So if you'll be moving anytime during the course of fulfillment, please let us know the dates of your move, as well as the new address, so we can make sure your order makes it to you.
• The first order of Dice is placed, and in production now. We're expecting to receive that order in mid-April.
• Dice Vaults and other items are moving through the final stages of preparation for production, including time trials. Once that's complete, we'll be able to plan labor and schedule the production itself. We have solid estimates for this, but the trials will give us hard data.
• We don't anticipate any issues with our fulfillment timeline, and it should begin in May as planned.

Settling In

This was a quiet one, but oftentimes with Kickstarter fulfillment, no news is good news. We look forward to getting the first wave of dice in, and beginning production on the Vaults and other items for you soon. But we especially look forward to shipping all of these out to you all, beginning in May. I'll be back on the 1st of April with another update, and we should have a bit more to report for the month prior to the beginning of fulfillment. It's the middle of February, and we've got some news to share, both related to this project... and our newest project, launching TODAY! Let's dive in and get you all the info you need.

Let's start with the most exciting announcement... the Modular Gaming Table is back!

Okay, now let's talk about dice!

IMPORTANT: Addresses are Locking

We're locking down backer addresses today. What does this mean? Simply that you will no longer be able to change your address in BackerKit yourself. But don't worry, we can and will change your address if you need to update it! You'll just have to contact us with your new address to do that.

Why do we lock addresses so far ahead of fulfillment (which begins in May)? Well, it's because we need to import all of the orders into our fulfillment and shipping software, and to do that, we need backer addresses to be locked in BackerKit.

We'll discuss the fulfillment system a bit more in the next update, but for now, just be aware of two things:

• To change your address, you'll need to contact us directly, ideally through a Kickstarter message.
• In that message, include your new address, and what date you'll be able to begin receiving mail there.

Project Timeline

Let's recap what's happened so far, as well as the plan moving forward:

• The campaign launched and funded.
• The survey (BackerKit) was sent out, collecting order information.
• BackerKit has been locked down and charged.
• Order information has been collected, giving Wyrmwood & Dispel data for production.
• We're locking down addresses now, which will allow us to import orders into our fulfillment system.
• Fulfillment is slated to begin in May, and neither Wyrmwood nor Dispel anticipate issues hitting that target.

Update Schedule

Moving forward, we're going to shift into our standard update schedule, which is as follows:

• You can expect video updates on the 1st of each month beginning in March.
• Once fulfillment begins, in May, you can expect a second update each month, on the 15th.
• This schedule will continue until the campaign fulfillment concludes (planned to conclude in July).

Thus far, updates have been sporadic, and based on the timing of certain milestones (the survey release, lock, etc). With those events settled, we can move into this schedule to keep communication regular, without cluttering up your inbox too much when there isn't a lot to say. But that doesn't mean work isn't progressing - it just means that it's mostly kind of boring work, from a backer perspective. ;)

Of course, if the need arises, we will send an update outside of these times. But generally, you can expect to hear the latest news on those dates.

Settling In

Well, that about wraps this update up! Thank you for your support, and for finalizing your surveys and helping us gather data in this exciting period of the project. We're standing at a good news/bad news point in the project. The bad news is that for our backers, this marks the end of the most active, exciting part of the process. But the good news is that we've got what we need to get to work creating the Elemental Collection, and we're that much closer to getting it to you!

(Less Than) 48 Hour Warning: BackerKit Surveys Locking Down!

Hello everyone!

This is just a quick reminder update to let you know that time is slipping away for those order changes...

BackerKit Surveys Locking in ~48 Hours!

This is officially the last call for order updates, so make sure you've made all desired changes to your order by end of day tomorrow - Tuesday, January 31st. That's the FINAL DAY for adding that last set of dice, new Dice Vault, or extra d20.

If you've already confirmed and are all set with your order, thank you, and you can relax!

BackerKit Charge Date

After the lockdown is completed, we'll be proceeding to redeem all the gift certificates you've entered, and adjust your order totals accordingly. Once that's complete, we'll be processing all the charges beginning on February 3rd (be aware that with the weekend, you may not see the charge hit until February 6th, so don't panic if you don't see it on your statement immediately).

That's about it for this one. I'll reach out with another update to let you know orders have been locked and charged, and then comes the hard part... waiting until fulfillment! More to come soon. :)

CHONK Videos & BackerKit Key Dates

Hey everyone!

Just dropping in with a brief update. First off, a big thank you to everyone that has filled out the survey so far - which is most of you!

However, we're still waiting to hear from more than 2,000 backers, so if you haven't yet, please complete your survey as soon as possible... time is running out! Important dates to remember are posted just below.

I've also got some videos of the chonks to share, which many of you have been requesting. But before we get to that...

BackerKit Important Dates

BackerKit remains open, but the key dates are getting closer - at the end of January, orders will be LOCKED from further editing (except addresses). We'll take a few days to adjust orders for which customers have redeemed gift certificates, add in the Dark Matter sets to those orders that qualify (any order containing items totaling $140 or more in value for the d20, or $500 or more in value for the set of 7), and then charge all outstanding balances.

January 31st: Final Day for order changes

February 3rd: BackerKit charges processed

After the 31st, we'll continue to process survey responses that come in, but you will be de-prioritized a bit in fulfillment, since we need those final numbers ASAP to plan production. So, to ensure your order is fulfilled without delays later on, please make an effort to turn in the survey before the end of January.

A CHONK In Hand...

By popular demand, we've got some footage of the chonk dice in motion; it's great to see these, since it's basically impossible to capture all the facets and the true impact of these beauties with still photos alone. I hope this gives you a better idea of what these massive, liquid-core d20s have to offer!
